Megan House Wilson
Megan opened Wilson Law, LLC in October 2021 to concentrate on family law, including divorce, custody, child support, post-divorce matters, which has been the focus of her practice for many years. With her she brought her experience in family law and criminal defense. A native Memphian, she graduated from Houston High School and then from the University of Tennessee at Martin, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She continued her studies at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, obtaining a juris doctor in 2014.
Megan has a passion for helping her clients through what is often the most difficult time of their lives and thrives on putting out fires in high pressure situations. Her business background gives her a better understanding of financial issues that arise during a divorce and analyzing business interests and financial statements. A born fighter, Megan represents her clients with tenacity and compassion.
During law school, Megan volunteered with CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, representing abused and neglected children in the court system. She is currently a Youth Court volunteer and advisor for Alpha Delta Pi sorority. An avid college football fan, she can often be found cheering on her Ole Miss rebels just as she was raised to do by her parents who were both alumni. She and her husband Andrew have two rescue dogs at the center of their world.
Megan is an active member of the Memphis Bar Association, family law section, and the American Bar Association.
